Widget Install Worpdress.org

Need help with a wordpress.org blog. Trying to install the widgets via the wp-admin page but they are not showing up when I add them. The only way I can add widgets right now is through the php files. Need to be able to add via the control panel with one-click and edit within the same area.
I do not need the widgets installed by you, I just need a fix as to why they are not viewable when added via the wp-admin widget page.
