Boat Classifieds Site
We require a classifieds/ listing website for luxury boats.
The design will need to look great and professional – we have mock-ups, and examples of other sites of what we want. You just need to create them.
We require the design, build and script installation onto our domain. And then any debugs if required.
No payment functions are required. They are free listings – once the seller is registered.
In summary, we require the following pages to be created:
- Home page, with dynamic graphics
- Search page, with our defined criteria in drop-down boxes
- Pages that show the listings/ classifieds
- Seller registration page
- Seller login page, with password reminder
- Seller home-page – with add, edit, delete functionalities of their listings
- Once sellers are logged in, ability to add a new listing (including boat description, photo upload, and ad preview)
Features we require:
- Home page to show photos of ‘featured listings’
- Ability for seller to add, edit and delete their listings.
- Other: to be confirmed with project winner.
As well as edit their personal/ contact details
A good administration login area is also required, which includes ability to:
- Add, edit, delete users
- Reset users passwords
- See the total number of registered users
- Number of listings
- Change the ‘welcome message’ that the users see when they login
- Add, edit, delete any of the boat listings
- Ability to send an email to all registered users at once (from one note)
- Change the minimum price that any boat can be listed for
- Change the details within the search categories
- Change the static page content, eg. About Us, Contact, FAQ.

This is a real estate website, but it is a good example of the quality we want. Also, the way that they layout the listings is what we are looking for (ie. 8 on a page) – and also they layout of once you click into a listing. We will give the project winner the final details – but this should give you a good example of what quality we require.
